Grown Here. Milled Here.
Yours.
A family grain farm on Millbrook bottomland — barley for your brewery, oats for your barn, flour for your kitchen.
The Grain Your Brewery Has Been Looking For.
We grow Conlon and Robust heritage varieties — two-row barley with the protein content and husk integrity that head brewers actually want. Ridgeline Brewing has sourced their house malt from this field since 2011. Millstream Ale Co. uses our spring barley for their August Harvest seasonal, every year without fail.
Combine-cut at peak moisture, field-dried to 12.5%, and stored in grain-tight bins on-site. You get a Certificate of Analysis with every bulk order — variety, protein, moisture, and germination rate. No guesswork between you and your mash tun.

Clean Oats, Counted by the Hundredweight.
August wind moves through the oat fields like corduroy rippling — you can read the whole crop from the road. We harvest whole oats for horse barns that want clean, high-fat grain without the filler and dust that comes in commercial bags. Valley Feed Co. and three private stables within 25 miles take a standing Tuesday delivery.
Same grain, different cut: we also offer rolled oats for home kitchens and small food producers. If you've eaten oatmeal that tasted like something, it probably started in a field like this one.
- Whole oats: 50 lb and 100 lb sacks
- Rolled oats: available in 25 lb retail bags
- Delivery within 40 miles, Tuesdays
- No fumigants, no additives — just grain

Flour That Remembers It Was Grain.
The mill is a 1940s French burr stone we found in a Mennonite auction in 2003. Cold-stone grinding keeps the germ intact and the oils from oxidizing — which is why this flour smells like something when you open the bag, and why the bread you bake with it has actual flavor.
Home bakers drive county roads on Saturday mornings to buy it direct. Weekend bakers' market regulars know to arrive before 9am — the whole-wheat and sifted bread flours sell out first. We mill on Fridays; what you buy on Saturday was ground yesterday.

"My horses have been on their whole oats for two winters. Clean, no dust, and they've never looked better."
Margaret Halverson
